About This Project

Preserving Śrīla Prabhupāda's
Teachings

This archive is designed to make recorded teachings easier to discover through chronological exploration, topics, locations and individual days.

Our Purpose

Why This Archive Exists

Śrīla A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda spoke thousands of recorded lectures, conversations and morning walks across more than a decade of travel around the world. For a student or researcher, the challenge is rarely a shortage of material — it is finding a clear way through it.

This project approaches the collection the way a historian might: chronologically. Instead of browsing by category alone, a visitor can ask a simple question — "what happened on this day?" — and follow the answer from morning to night, session by session, in the order it was actually recorded.

How to Use the Archive

Finding Your Way

Three paths lead through the collection:

  • By date. Choose a year, month and day, or jump straight to a known date, to see a complete chronological account of that day's recordings.
  • By topic or scripture. Explore recurring subjects such as Bhagavad-gītā, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, bhakti-yoga or the nature of the soul.
  • By place. Follow the teachings city by city, from New York to Vrindavan to Melbourne.
A Note on This Demonstration

Placeholder Content

The lecture records, dates, locations and YouTube links currently shown throughout this site are placeholder frontend content created to demonstrate the interface, and are not verified historical records. Titles, topics and descriptions have not been drawn from — and should not be mistaken for — actual transcribed lectures or direct quotations. As real, verified recordings and archival metadata become available, they are intended to replace this demo dataset through a future PHP and MySQL backend.

Independence

Not an Official Archive

This is an independent, unofficial project built for demonstration and study purposes. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with ISKCON, the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT), the Bhaktivedanta Archives, or Vedabase. For official, verified recordings and publications, please consult those organizations directly.
